Ms. Crupi is once again coordinating student-driven fundraising initiatives for the Me To We Campaign. For the third year in a row, St-Laurent Academy is proud to be participating in the Me to We program. This year, student participation is at its highest, with over 25 students in the club. Our goal in the Me to We club is to shift the focus from “me” to “we” by supporting our local and global communities through fundraising initiatives.
Throughout the school year, students in the Me to We club organize fundraising events in support of the Free the Children Foundation. This year, we will be supporting all 5 Free the Children pillars. The 5 pillars are: Health, Education, Alternative Income and Livelihood, Agriculture and Food Security and last but not least, Clean Water and Sanitation. Many fundraising events held by St-Laurent Academy will support one of the 5 pillars. Our first fundraising event, Spirit Week was a huge success…and a lot of fun!
