St-Laurent Academy Childcare provides separate English and French Toddler Preschool and Kindergarten programs for children from 18 months to 6 years.
St-Laurent Academy Childcare is licensed by the Ontario Day Nurseries Act to provide preschool and daycare for children 18 - 48 months old. Under the Ministry of Education of Ontario, St-Laurent Academy is also licensed to provide Kindergarten (JK & SK) for children 4-6 years of age.
Our Childcare Program ratios: Toddler: 1/5, Preschool: 1/8, JK/SK: 1/8.
St-Laurent Academy Childcare prides itself on offering a diversified curriculum to accommodate most children. We develop children’s various abilities: language, cognitive, intellectual as well as their social skills. Our childcare programs are enriched with music, art and daily sports programming including: swimming, skating, dance, gymnastics, yoga , tae-kwon do, and phys-ed.
We offer the following programs at our St. Laurent Complex Campus:
- Toddler (English and French) Ages 18 months to 2 ½ years.
- Preschool (French) Under the Ontario Day Nurseries Act Ages 30-48 months
- Preschool (English) Under the Ontario Day Nurseries Act Ages 30-48 months
- JK and SK (French) Under the Ministry of Education of Ontario requirements
- JK and SK (English) Under the Ministry of Education of Ontario requirements
At St-Laurent Academy, we pride ourselves in having an overall vision of each child. We respect each individual and emphasize everyone’s ability to succeed whatever they undertake.
Our main objective is to stimulate each child’s physical and psychological developments.
To accompany each child in his/her development, we take into consideration the personal pace in his/her evolution as well as the various length of time each child needs at different developmental stages.
We ask each child, no matter what their chronological age to fully invest themselves at all levels according to their capacities and to develop at the same time their intellect, their body and their heart.
